Holiday Event
On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, (Wreath Placement Immediately Following
Ceremony) Wreaths Across America will be at the State Veterans Cemetery Middletown
Connecticut to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths.
Nancy Fontana Bracket, our treasurer, has again approved the purchase of 5 Wreaths on
behalf of the AAFRC, one in honor of our deceased member Rene Gagnon who is buried
there. If anyone know of any other members buried there, please let Nancy know for next
year’s event as you can dedicate one in their honor.
It is a great tradition when we see some of our members each year (Dean and Dan
Damiata and Leslie Marinaro) typically attend. It is a great event to bring children,
grandchildren or friends to make it a holiday tradition in honor of our veterans. For more
